Summertime fine

Looks like Melbourne is heating up again, YES! A lot of people have asked me in the past how I keep the dewy look even in the heat and humidity of summer. To be honest it ain't easy, so I've compiled my ultimate guide on products I like to use and how to apply them to achieve a sexy dewy glow, not a sweaty mess. I've chosen MAC Face & Body because it's buildable, looks like skin and feels super light for summer, I'd love to know what your ultimate dewy go-to product would be. Here's my guide...

How to wear it;
  1. Lather on some MAC studio moisture cream
  2. Now apply your choice of primer (preferably something with SPF, because MAC F&B doesn't have sun protection)
  3. Next, apply MAC F&B in layers and build to your desired coverage. The last layer you'll want to mix in Arbonne Sheer Glow for the "dewy look". The great thing about Arbonne SG is that it's not shimmery but only has a subtle sheen without a "shiny" finish. Each layer of MAC F&B is a portion size between a 10c to 20c coin and Arbonne SG should only be under the size of a 5c coin. After you're happy with the MAC F&B base, apply your last layer (or two) of MAC F&B mixed with Arbonne SG. Remember that layering is key, so only use a small amount for each layer.
  4. Spot conceal and highlight with Makeup Forever camouflage cream palette. Again, layer it on because a thick concealer blob on your face is so unappealing and it's obvious.
  5. Finish off your look by adding Benefit's Lust Duster on the upper apples of your cheek bones (sorry guys, I can't find this product anymore, so no link) for a sexy glow
  6. Optional last step - this step only applies to those who sweat easily or have oily skin. Apply translucent powder over your t-zone. I love MUFE or MAC P&P for this step.

I love how Leighton Meester's done dewy here...

But anything too shiny adds age and just looks so wrong ...
